With this project the government can track the beneficiaries and provide them financial help at village level, block level, district level, state and national level altogether. UDID card can be issued by any home district hospital and the specific hospital where PwDs go for their treatment according to RPWD Act, 2016. People will get all information regarding application, verification and other requirements of UDID from this article.

Complete process:

The chief objective of this initiative is to enable all PwDs within the country for getting UDID card and disable certificates. This documents are credentials for them to obtain all available schemes and benefits provided by the government. At first, PwDs have to register online via the official website of UDID by following the guidelines. They have to download the registration form first where they need to input personal details, disability details, employment details and identity details accordingly. The applied candidates will get confirmation about verification from the department of empowerment of persons with disabilities under the ministry of social justice and empowerment. After valid confirmation and verification from the submitted information in web portal PwDs will be informed to collect their individual certificate from the department.
