  1. Cricket

Word Cricket is dominated by Maharashtra in India. There is no doubt about it. When this Game in India was introduced since then the State is dominating. Bombay was the place where the first annual cricket tournament took place in the country (1877). There are full fledge teams of Maharashtra participated in the Rangi Trophy. The Brabourne Stadium, The Bombay Gym Khana and the Wankhede Stadium are the three official test venues of Mumbai. Also the venue in Navi Mumbai is DY Patil Stadium. International tournaments were also held at the same stadium. In Maharashtra, Cricket World Cup matches happen three times.
