Introduction
Apart from all the fundamental rights that are acquired by humans, peace is one such right that every human being aspires to have. No human being would prefer to live in a state of turmoil, violence and anarchy. It is noted that people in the world of rat-race and cut-throat competition strive best to earn their money and enjoy a better standard of living. However, in the process of earning money, they often get stressed and end up in a state of anxiety. This implies that they cannot enjoy peace despite being rich and prosperous. In other words, peace helps in fostering unity and cooperation. Contrary to it, without the prevalence of peace, matters often end up in fights and commotions. The only way to acquire peace is by meditation and getting indulged in spiritual thoughts. A person who enjoys peace shows a positive attitude and always refrains from a person who displays a negative attitude.

Peace occupies a central position in those human beings who walks on the path of positivity. Every religious leader preaches peace by asserting the fact that peace is the universal law of nature. One of the most important products of human rights is peace because it promotes the well-being of human beings. The link between the right to peace and international human rights is very potent as the absence of peace creates violations of human rights. Even Mahatma Gandhi protested against ahimsa and promoted peace and harmony. Without using weapons, he showed that by using Ahimsa as a weapon, peace can be brought to the country. No civilization in this world can exist without peace and harmony. Secularism was promoted in India in order to maintain peace and promote brotherhood among all religions.
Religions have contributed significantly to the promotion of peace and prosperity among people. In addition, the All India Peace and Solidarity Organisation is an institution that promotes peace, solidarity and friendship among people. This organisation persistently works towards global security, cultural rights and secularism. Close relations are maintained with the neighbouring countries thereby establishing a relationship of peace and harmony.
The Mainatinece of peace helps a human being to achieve goals and be successful in life. As opined by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, peace is an essential commodity that is needed for progress and development. The other idols who promoted peace are Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa and Saint Francis de Sales. All of them were of the notion to promote that peace is the strength of the mind.

When at peace, a mind can help a human being in being more productive at their work. To conclude people who are peaceful can help in creating a peaceful environment around them. Moreover, they can also inspire others to promote peace and prosperity. Thus peace is regarded as an important element as it helps in promoting peace, collaboration, optimisation and unity.
