Interviewer 1: What is your name?
Candidate: Prerna Rahul Sharma, Sir.
Interviewer 1: What is the meaning of Prerna? Or Why your parents given you this name? Do you know?
Candidate: Yes Sir, ‘Prerna’ means Inspiration. My parents given me this name because they like this name. There is no other specific reason for that Sir.
Interviewer 1: Ok, give a short introduction of your family.
Candidate: My mother’s name is Anita and my mother is a house wife. My father’s name is Rahul and my father is a retired army officer. I have a younger brother. His name is Rajveer and he is doing engineering in Computer science.
Interviewer 1: we say, ‘there are more man engineers in this world that female engineers’. What is your opinion about this?
Candidate: Yes sir. I agree, there are more male engineers working in the world. I feel, people or your surrounding people say engineering is very hard and only man can handle. People always say and even women says by herself that, ‘They are weak in maths. Women assume engineering is all about maths and they are not suitable. Also, many women’s are not encouraged to do. People make realise women that their first priority should be their family. But, today I feel it’s changing. I saw many girls doing engineering now days.
Interviewer 1: ok.
Interviewer 2: So you did B.Sc. in Chemistry Right?
Candidate: Yes, Ma’am.
Interviewer 2: Do you know the chemical composition of fat in our body?
Candidate: Yes Ma’am. Glycerides and phospholipids, Glycolipids and Tocopherol etc. These are the components that compose fat in our body.
Interviewer 2: Ok.
Interviewer 3: Can you tell me some names of carbon compounds?
Candidate: Yes Sir, Methane, Chloroform and Acetic acid. These are compounds of carbon.
Interviewer 3: Ok.
Interviewer 4: Consider a situation, where a criminal is offering you money and in return of forgiveness from the crime. What will you do?
Candidate: I personally feel corruption happens from two sides not only from one side. I will not take money or any other thing if someone is offering me. For sure, I will take strict action against him or her because I would not support corruption.
