24000 people will get employment in Maharashtra State
ठाकरे सरकारचा 15 मोठ्या कंपन्यांसोबत करार; 35 हजार कोटींची गुंतवणूक, 24 हजार रोजगारांचा दावा:
MUMBAI: In the wake of the corona virus crisis and lockdown, the Maharashtra government has now embarked on vigorous work to attract investment and boost business in the state. The Mahavikas Aghadi government has claimed an investment of Rs 35,000 crore in the state, which is expected to provide employment to about 24,000 people. The Thackeray government on Monday (2nd November 2020) will sign MoUs with about 15 big companies. (Thackeray Government MOU 15 Big Companies)
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will be present at the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the companies through video conferencing. Many MoU companies have already taken land in Maharashtra. Among the companies with which the Maharashtra government will sign agreements are Mitsubishi Electric, Bright Sino and Netmagic. STT data centers, Colt data centers Ancyra Eveint logistics, Oriental aromatic ET, Oriental aromatics ET. Evermint logistics, Malpani warehousing companies are also involved.
At the time of the lockdown, the government had signed agreements with about 21 companies. Out of this, a total investment of Rs 51,000 crore will come in Maharashtra. Reconciliation agreements with dozens of companies are expected by January. The government aims to invest Rs 1.50 lakh crore in the state. The main name is Tesla, which is famous for making electric cars.
A few days ago, the Cabinet approved the creation of a bulk drugs park in Raigad, Maharashtra. About Rs 1,000 crore is expected to be invested in bulk drug parks in Maharashtra under the central government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat Yojana. The central government has also invited proposals from other states. The Government of Maharashtra hopes that this scheme will benefit Maharashtra under this self-reliant India.
According to a senior official, the current government is only contracting with companies willing to invest. The government prefers to enter into agreements with those whose land purchase process has been completed or done in the pipeline. With the increase in investment, employment will also increase in rural areas of Maharashtra.
