PAPER-I

MAHARASHTRA ZILLA PARISHADS AND PANCHAYAT SAMITIS ACT, 1961 AND BOMBAY VILLAGE PANCHAYATS ACT, 1958. ETC.

  1. B-

  1. Write down the provisions regarding Appropriation Bills of the State under the Constitution of India.
  2. Explain the provisions regarding Village Fund.
  3. (a) Procedure for election of Chairman of Panchayat Samiti.

(b) Power of State Government to dissolve Zilla Parishad and consequential provisions.

  1. Explain the provisions regarding motion of no confidence against Chairman or Deputy Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti.

OR

Explain the powers and functions of the President of Zilla Parishad.

  1. Explain the provisions regarding Village Water Supply Fund.
  2. Write down the procedure to be followed after receipt of report of the Chief Auditor under section 8 of the Maharashtra Local Fund Audit Act.

OR

THE BOMBAY AGRICULTURAL PEST AND DISEASE ACT, 1947; THE MAHARASHTRA IRRIGATION ACT, 1976; THE MAHARASHTRA E.G.S. ACT, 1977 AND THE LAND ACQUISITION ACT, 1894; ETC.

(4) Solve any ten questions.

(5) Marks are indicated in margins.

(6) Relevant sections of the Act should be mentioned, where ever necessary.

  1. Write down the procedure for getting employment to adult persons under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act.

of amount can be sanctioned.
