PAPER – I

Organization of Government of Maharashtra

  1. B:-

(1) All questions are compulsory.

(2) Candidate should not write roll number, any name (including his/ her own), signature, address or any indication of his/her identity anywhere inside the answer book otherwise he/she will be penalized.

(3) Candidates are expected to answer all the sub questions of a question together. If sub question of a question is attempted elsewhere (after leaving a few pages or after attempting another question) the later sub question shall be overlooked.

  1. What is mean by Contingency Crop Planning? What are the different recommendations far Contingency Crop Planning by different Agriculture Universities of the State?
  2. Describe in detail – Dry Land Farming Mission and explain about different components of dryland farming mission.
  3. What is mean by Quality Control of Agriculture Inputs? Give details of Quality Control Laboratories of Agriculture Inputs working in the State.

  1. What is mean by In-Situ Moisture Conservation? Explain in short about different treatments of In-Situ Moisture Conservation.

(b) What are the different kinds of travelling allowances? State various factors to be considered for the calculation of daily allowance?

  1. (a) Describe the procedure for conversion of an advance into a final withdrawal.

(b) Explain salient features of deposit linked insurance scheme under the General Provident Fund.

  1. State the classification of contingent charges and explain in detail about contract contingency and special contingency.
  2. Enlist different types of bills with their form numbers presented in treasury for payment. Write in short which general instructions should be followed by drawing and disbursing officers while preparing the bills.
