Series and parallel AC circuits, three phase circuits, Power calculation in balanced and unbalanced circuits, Linear and non linear loads.
- Principle, types, performance characteristics, starting and speed control of single phase and three phase induction motors, Equivalent circuits, pharos diagrams, applications. VFD for induction motors. Energy saving opportunities in using VFD.
