PAPER – I

Current educational problem concerning administrative branch of education department

  1. B-

(1) Attempt any five questions.

(2) Each question carry equal marks and indicated in the margin

(3) Candidate should not write roll number, any name (including his/ her own), signature, address or any indication of his/her identity anywhere inside the answer book otherwise he/she will be penalized.

(4) Candidates are expected to answer all the sub questions of a question together. If sub question of a question is attempted elsewhere (after leaving a few pages or after attempting another question) the later sub question shall be overlooked.

(5) Answers are to be written in one language only either in Marathi or in English.

  1. Explain the importance of the institute of ‘Academic Authority ‘ in school education and explain the structure and duties of this institute.
  2. Explain the duties of the appropriate Government and local authority in respect of education of children mentioned in ‘ Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 ‘.
  3. Write short notes on following (any two):-

(b) Structure and functions of the school management committee

(c) Role and functions of ‘ Kendra Pramukh’ in primary education

(d) Mid day meal.

  1. Explain the concept of ‘Progressive Educational Maharashtra ‘ and explain the nature of implementation and output of this scheme at primary level.
  2. Illustrate the following (any two):-

(a) Universalisation of primary education

(b) Functions of the head master are defined in the, ‘The Maharashtra Employees of Private Schools (Conditions of Service) Rules 1981’.

(c) Pre metric scholarship for minority students.

(d) Beneficiary schemes for students in school education

  1. How you can use the computer for administrative and educational improvement? What effort has been taken by Govt. of Maharashtra? Explain the nature of this effort.

General knowledge of art education in the state, grant-in-aid code, educational manual etc.

  1. What is meant by budget? Explain in detail the process of budget preparation.
  2. How estimates of receipts and expenditure are finalized?
  3. Why security is furnished from the persons who are entrusted with collection or custody of cash store etc.? Kindly elaborate the rules regarding the same.
  4. “Reconciliation is the tool to control the expenditure “; elaborate the statement by referring the instructions regarding the reconciliation of expenditure.
